in Saukville's Hunter Safety courses. Gene and his wife were longtime season ticket holders of the Milwaukee Reparatory Theater and supporters of the Milwaukee Art Museum and Saukville Public Library. Close to home, Gene was a Meals-on-Wheels volunteer, an enthusiastic Sheepshead player and served on the Saukville Village Zoning Board. Mr. Wiesner is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Joann, and their two children Kara (Thomas Martin) Wiesner of Cedarburg and Andrew (Amy) Wiesner of New York City. He is further survived by his sisters Emy (Russ) Seaman of Hartland and Sandy (Lee) Schmiling of Algoma, brother-in-law Lyle (Bev) Schmiling, also of Algoma, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Joyce Wiesner. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 PM on Wednesday, January 18th at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Cedarburg (1167 Washington Ave.). The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home from 3-6 PM. Memorials are suggested in Gene's name to either Saukville Hunter Education Program or Saukville Library Program.
