James J. Tellock
Mr. Jim Tellock, of W. Dekora St. in Saukville, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 6, 2012 at his home. He was 86 years old. Jim was born June 16, 1925 in Milwaukee, the son of Archie and Carolyn Koptiske Tellock. After high school, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps. Jim proudly served his country during WWII, participating in several amphibious landings in the South Pacific. He courageously survived shrapnel wounds, and was awarded the Purple Heart. On December 14, 1946 he was united in marriage with Bette Lehfeldt in Milwaukee. Jim was a proud member of the Glendale Police Auxiliary. In the mid 1970's, Jim and Bette moved to Florida, where Jim worked at the Florida branch of the AAA Motor Club, where his responsibilities included office and merchandising manager duties. After 30 years, Jim and Bette returned to Wisconsin, and made their home in Saukville. He was a lifelong, passionate automotive enthusiast. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Bette and their children Lori Ann (Tim) Brauer of Grafton, David James (Denise) of Greenwood, SC and the late Terri Lynn Greene. n and other friends. In accordance with Jim's wishes, private family services were held. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to a charity of choice. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
