WILLIAM T. LAMB A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2012, at St. Michael's Anglican Church, in Ridgecrest, California. RIDGECREST, California - William T. Lamb, 81, died on Monday, October 10, 2011, while residing at Ridgecrest Healthcare Center. There will be refreshments to follow in the parish hall. William was born October 22, 1929, in Letts, Iowa, the son of Silvis and Leona Hidlebaugh Lamb. He married Mary Ann Foley in 1954, in Cranston, Iowa. Growing up in the community of Letts, Iowa, he received his education at Letts Consolidated Schools and graduated from Muscatine High School in 1947. He went on to graduate from the University of Iowa in 1960, with a degree in electrical engineering. He was a veteran of the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. William and his wife, Mary, moved to China Lake, California, in 1960, where he worked at the Naval Ordnance Test Station, retiring in 1986, after 26 years of service on the Naval Weapons Center. William is survived by two daughters, Sue Ann Lamb of Ridgecrest, California, and Kathleene Woodward and her husband, Bret, of Sun City, Arizona; one son, Thomas Lamb and his wife, Elizabeth, of Lufkin, Texas; two granddaughters, Emily Ann and Katie Nicole Woodward; and one brother, James L. Lamb and his wife, Rita, of Muscatine, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mary Ann in 2003; and one son, Stephen Douglas Lamb in infancy.
