t Iowa Transit. Donnie was an active member of the Eagles, the American Legion, coached youth wrestling for a number of years, was Mayor of Carson, and was instrumental in starting the Carson Rodeo. Donnie was known to many of his friends as "Whitey". Some of his passions included baseball, softball, football, and wrestling officiating, hunting, fishing, playing cards and pool. Above all the times spent with his family were of utmost importance to him. He enjoyed watching his kids participate in athletic events and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jack Fletcher and Junior Fletcher; brother-in-law Dale Erickson; a grandchild in infancy; his father and mother-in-law Roy and Phyllis DeVore; and sister-in-law Yvonne Fletcher. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Carol of Shenandoah; daughters Jamie Hahn and husband Timothy of Lincoln, NE and Jana Rayburn and husband Landon of Zebulon, NC; son Matthew Fletcher and wife Jennifer of Council Bluffs, IA; grandchildren Derek and Kyler Hahn; Ali, Ryan and Owen Fletcher; siblings Annette Porter and husband Ivan, Shirley Fletcher and husband Kenneth, Leola Glass and husband William T. , Nancy Erickson, Danny Fletcher and wife Shelia, Richard Fletcher and wife Linda, Robert Fletcher and wife Penny, and Sharon Warrior; sister-in-law Kay Nish and husband William; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
