Donna Mae Stoll, 77, of Maquoketa, Iowa, died on Sunday afternoon, February 19, 2012, at the Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa, Iowa. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, February 24, 2012, from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M. on Thursday, February 23, 2012, from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa, Iowa. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa, Iowa. Donna Mae Welch was born on June 23, 1934 in Maquoketa, Iowa. She was the only child born to Isaac Thomas and Ava Irene (Reed) Welch. She attended Maquoketa Schools and married Carl Frank Stoll, Jr. on February 25, 1951 in Maquoketa, Iowa. He preceded her in death on March 29, 1986. Donna was a homemaker and had farmed with her husband east of Maquoketa until 1977, moving to Maquoketa. Donna enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, flowers, reading and going for rides.
