a variety of school activities. Norma was a member of the Henderson United Methodist Church and of the United Methodist Women. Norma suffered from chronic diabetes and later Crohn's disease. Following the closing of the battery plant, Norma attended school at the Nebraska College of Business and earned a degree as a medical assistant. In 1997, Norma received a kidney transplant, and in 1998, a pancreas transplant. Norma enjoyed an occasional lunch with her Eveready friends and enjoyed volunteering at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. Norma loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Norma entered the Clarkson Hospital in Omaha on April 9, 2002. She and Maynard observed their 32nd wedding anniversary on November 10th. Norma died at the hospital on November 1lth at the age of 52 years, 8 months, and 10 days. Norma was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her husband Maynard of Henderson; daughter Paula and her husband Mike Story and their children Michael John, Colton, and Riley; son John Roberson and his wife Tammy and their son Raymond, and their expected daughter Cheyenne Jean to be born on November 20th, all of Henderson; father Floyd Timson of Henderson; sister Lois and her husband Leonard McMullen of Silver City, Iowa; brother Kenneth Timson and his wife Donna of Shelby, North Carolina; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
