Brett Lynn Pace

Brett Lynn Pace, the sixth of seven children of Ardis (Slaughter) and Lawrence Pace, was born at his parent's home near Glenwood, Iowa on November 15, 1958. Brett Lynn attended Glenwood Community High School where he excelled in the sport of wrestling, winning numerous medals and trophies. After high school, Brett Lynn became the father of Chelsea Thomas. He later moved to Athol, Idaho where he was a member of the Living Water Fellowship Church. During his six years in Athol, Brett Lynn sponsored a twelve-step substance abuse group and won the 1991 Award for Volunteer of the Year by the Kootenai County Substance Abuse Council. Brett Lynn and Candace Shepherd of Tabor, Iowa were married in Athol on June 21, 1994. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Theron R. Pace and Samantha J. Pace. Brett Lynn was fortunate in his lifetime to have traveled to every state of the continental U.S., Mexico, and Canada, but Glenwood, Iowa always held his home, his people, and his heart.
