rch of Christ in Glenwood. Outside of his practice, Jack loved to play golf and cribbage, and enjoyed cats. He was one of the ten original founders of the Glenwood Golf Course, organizing and helping see to its construction. He always enjoyed teaching the fundamentals of golf as much as playing. After his retirement, Jack and Buck Edmonds volunteered for many years as assistant coaches to the Glenwood and Malvern High School Golf Teams. Jack's health forced him to move to the Tabor Manor Care Center in Tabor, Iowa in April of 2005. Jack and Bonnie had been married 58 years when Jack died at the Manor on May 26, 2005 at the age of 83 years, 3 months, and 7 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother William Young and sister Maxine Hillman. Jack is survived by his wife Bonnie Young of Glenwood; and daughters Jacque Young and her husband Howard Kamish of Glenwood and Shelly Lynch Lewis and her husband Gregory of Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren Kyle Lynch, Sara Lewis, Jessica Young Kamish and Whitney Young Kamish; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
