They had been married 55 years when Charles died at the Manor of Malvern on June 4, 2005 at the age of 75 years, 6 months, and 2 days. Charles was preceded in death by his father Charles M. Shere, stepfather Linville Wallace, son-in-law Steven Hanson, and grandson Justin L. Shere. Charles is survived by his wife Bernadine Shere of Malvern; mother Melva Wallace, now living at the Manor of Malvern; son Cisco Shere and his wife Teresa and their daughter Serena Shere of Malvern; great niece Kitty Hanson and her son Andrew Hanson of Albert Lee, Minnesota; brothers Verlin Shere and his wife Francine of Omaha, Nebraska and Richard Shere and his wife Joanna of Malvern; sister Mona McDaniel and her husband John of Council Bluffs, Iowa; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
