JoAnn Chaney

JoAnn Vera Chaney, age 72, of Glenwood, IA and formerly of Medford, Oregon, died at her daughter's home in Glenwood on August 9, 2009. JoAnn worked as a nurse's aid in a Colton, Oregon nursing home. She had been recently diagnosed with lung cancer and moved to Glenwood. JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Daun Chaney; daughter, Fern Kappes; and brother, Bob Hawkins. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Evans and husband Anthony, of Glenwood and their children, Russell Kelton, Sierra Chaney, and Breawnna Evans; grandson Caleb Kappes and his fiancé Barbara and their son Riley of Medford, OR; sisters, Ellen Merrill and Julia Moore, both of White City, OR; and brother Walt Hawkins of Montana.
