Sandra L. Ronan LONE TREE, Iowa--Sandra Lou Ronan, 56, of Lone Tree passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at her home in Lone Tree. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2012, at the Lone Tree American Legion. Burial will take place in Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2012, at the Lone Tree American Legion. The Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services of Lone Tree is caring for Sandy's arrangements and her family. Sandra was born on May 10, 1955, in Harper, Kansas, the daughter of Lloyd Harrison and Kathleen Ketchum Smith. Sandy was a 1973 graduate of Wapello High School. On February 23, 1974, Sandy was united in marriage to Daniel Ronan in Wapello. She worked for Loparex in Iowa City as an Administrative Assistant. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Dan Ronan of Lone Tree; her children, Shannon Sojka and husband, Chris, Elisha Ronan, Daniel Ronan and wife, Carrie, all of Lone Tree, Stefanie Ronan of Iowa City, and Angela Barnhardt and husband, Brad, of De Kalb, Illinois; one step-daughter, Kim Amos and husband, John, of Spirit Lake; 11 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren;...[more]
