Patricia Lou Clark

Patricia Lou Clark, 62, of Danville, Ia., lost her battle with breast cancer on July 28, 2012 at her home under hospice care. She was born August 12, 1949 in Tacoma, Washington, the daughter of Edwin Bryon and Hazel Lois (Sykes) Teeter. On January 3, 1969 she married Jerry M. Clark of Milan, Missouri. Pat trusted in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in June of 1969. She previously lived in Burlington for 28 years. She enjoyed ceramics, porcelain dolls, and making quilts. She helped start the "Threads of Hope" ministry at Harmony Bible church, which makes quilts for patients at Great River Hospice House. She will be missed by her family and friends. Surviving are her husband and her 4 children: Christina Bennett of Bettendorf; Tracy (Mike) Williams of Amana and their children, Tyreke, Dawson, Shauntina and Xavier; Susie (Clint) Williams of Danville and their daughters, Ali and Jenna; Jared (Brenna) Clark of Durant and their children, Addysen, Reed and Ellasyn; 3 sisters, Linda, Vida and Kelly of Washington State and one brother, Gerald Hopkins of Washington State. others, Duane and her twin Michael. Funeral services for Patricia will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Harmony Bible Church, Danville. Pastor Jim Lange will officiate with Lunch begin served immediately following the service at the church and interment being held Tuesday afternoon at Oak Grove Cemetery in Milan, Missouri. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Elliott Chapel, New London, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established for the "Threads of Hope" and Great River Hospice.
