Survivors are sons, Dr. Mark William Coffey, Boulder, Colorado; Milo Wayne Coffey, Fort Dodge; daughter, Dr. Laurel Lynne Crusinberry, Lincoln, Nebraska and Dr. Richard Crusinberry; three grandsons, Michael William Crusinberry, Peter John Crusinberry, Benjamin Richard Crusinberry, and one granddaughter, Grace Thao Crusinberry; sister, Carol Sharon Brown, El Paso, Texas; brother, Stanley Sherwood Morgan and wife, Aniela, Tyler, Texas; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Davis Coffey in 1993, mother, Erla Elaine Morgan in 1978, and father, Alpha O. Morgan in 2001. Patricia Avalon Morgan Coffey was born August 15, 1934 at Elwood, Nebraska. She graduated from Elwood High School in 1952, and graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1956 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She married William D. Coffey in 1956 at Orleans, Nebraska. The family lived in Nebraska and Iowa. She worked for the National Bank of Commerce, Lincoln, Nebraska, taught at Southwestern Community College, Creston, Iowa and at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, where she also did graduate work in Economics and was an Extension Research Assistant. a Department of Human Services for many years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the Fort Dodge First United Methodist Church, National T.T.T. Society, Chapter X, and a past president of the Friends of the Fort Dodge Public Library Board, and a member of the University of Nebraska Alumni Association. She had also been active in DAR, Eastern Star, AAUW, and Farm Bureau Women. Pat enjoyed traveling, reading, and playing bridge.
