Frances A. Donnelly

Frances A. Donnelly, 70, of Fort Dodge passed away on Wednesday June 8, 2011 at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Frances was born in Fort Dodge on March 16, 1941 to Clifford and Dorothy (Davis) Benson. She grew up in Holiday Creek and graduated from Otho High School in 1959. She married James Donnelly on March 11, 1961 in Boone, Iowa. She was a homemaker and after her children were grown she worked outside the home in the food service industry at Trinity Regional Medical Center and the Fort Dodge Community School District. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She also loved reading, horses and baking for her family and friends. Frances is survived by her husband James; her children Jeffery (Chris) Donnelly and Todd (Dawn) Donnelly both of Fort Dodge, Carolyn Donnelly and Susan Donnelly both of Cedar Rapids, IA; grandchildren Meghan, MacKenzie, Katie and Bailey Donnelly and Sydney Helms; her brothers Walter (Marilyn) Benson of Tucson, AZ, and Donald (Rose) Benson of Otho, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents Cliff and Dorothy and her sister Rose Marie Benson.[more]
