Earlene M. Hubbard

Earlene M. Hubbard, 77, of Fort Dodge passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Villa Care Center. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday December 20, 2011 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with burial following at North Lawn Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Earlene was born in Fort Dodge on April 16, 1934 to Earl and Frances Harris. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1952. She then attended Nursing School in Sioux City, IA. She married Wilbur Hubbard on June 27, 1954 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. She worked as an Aide for the County Home for many years along with Life Works and Trinity Regional Medical Center. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church for many years. She loved to play BINGO, cards, reading and embroidery. Earlene is survived by her husband Wilbur; children Mark (Kari) Hubbard of Fort Dodge, Mike (Dorothea) Hubbard of Burnside, Janelle Hubbard (Tony Mosley) of Fort Dodge and Jaylene Thompson of Fort Dodge; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and her brothers Phillip (Rhonda) Harris of ...[more]
