Anderson-Sather American Legion Post #524, White Lake, the Paul Marmes Chapter 23, Disabled American Veterans, Antigo, the Leland-Tollefson Veterans of Foreign War Post #2653, Antigo, and the Timberwolves Detachment of the Marine Corps League, Antigo. During his life he was very active with youth baseball, basketball and football. Locally Mr. Ramer was instrumental in starting the Antigo Stallions youth baseball program. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking and attending auctions. Survivors including his wife are a daughter Ann Weiss of Chesapeake, Virginia; two sons Michael (Janelle) Ramer of Hogarty, Charlie (Pam) Ramer of Antigo; six grandchildren Crystal and Benjamin Ramer, Zackery and Ashley Ramer, Michael Charles and Daniel Weiss; three great-grandchildren Liliana Rayne, Hunter Rose Ann and Memphis; five sisters Patricia (Donald) Rose of Elton, Donna (Garth) Huettl of Elton, Debra Ramer of Delavan, Peggy Ramer of Janesville, Vickie Ramer of Union Grove; three brothers James Ramer of Elton, William (Deb) Ramer of Elton, Joseph Ramer of Elton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Constantineau, two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Ramer and Elaine "Nollie" Ramer A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo with Rev. David Schmidt officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. on Monday at the Bradley Funeral Home and 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
