Doctor James Salvatore Puccio 79 of Germantown died Thursday September 6, 2012 at Hospice of Butler and Warren County. "Doc" was a General Dentist in private practice in Middletown for many years. He enjoyed painting oil pictures, had a pilot's license and flew his twin Navajo airplane. He also enjoyed fishing, he was past president of the Son's of Italy, and Quiet Birdmen. He also was an active member of the Masonic Lodge in Middletown. He enjoyed carpentry and remodeling and also owned a heating and plumbing business in the 70's. James served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Lovern, a son, Dr. James C. ( Andrea) Puccio, a stepson, Donald Turner, a daughter, Shelley Lynn Puccio, a step daughter, Debra Turner, and 2 grandsons, Giovanni and Landon. He also leaves a sister, Marilyn Lauria and a brother, Guy (Joanne) Puccio.
A Life Celebration Service will be held Saturday 12:00 pm September 15, 2012 at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd. St. Franklin. A Gathering of family and friends will begin at 9:00 am at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will begin at 12:00 pm, concluding with Military Honors.
