Elsie E. Lindner, 81, of Fort Dodge, passed away September 13, 2012, at her home. Rosary services will 10:00 AM Monday in the chapel of the Gunderson Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Monday at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Shane Deman officiating. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge. Mrs. Lindner is survived by her husband, Donald; three sons, Bruce Lindner of Clarion, Iowa, Jay (Karen) Lindner of Fremont, Nebraska, and Dana (Paula) Lindner of Fort Dodge; a daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Lindner of Fort Dodge; six grandchildren, Thomas (Allie) Lindner, Daniel (Aubrie) Lindner, Sarah Lindner (fiancée Kevin Mullins), Emily Lindner, David Lindner, and Patrick Lindner; a brother, William J. Schlueter of Fort Dodge and a sister, Carol Martens of Fort Dodge. She is preceded in death by a son, Mark Lindner on January 5, 2012, her parents, her sister, Inga and brother-in-law Floyd Woodard, and brother-in-law Gene Martens. Elsie E. nd graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1948. On May 20, 1950 Elsie married Donald Lindner at Corpus Christi Church in Fort Dodge. Elsie worked at Trinity Regional Medical Center in the outpatient department. She has lived in Fort Dodge all of her life. The family request memorials left to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
