nteer driver for R.S.V.P. for seven years, treasurer for the Storden Senior Citizens, treasurer for Storden Senior Citizen building committee, and volunteer for Storden Clothing Center. Chris and Verona were the Senior Citizen King and Queen for Cottonwood County in 1991. He also received a commendation from Governor Rudy Perpich for volunteerism. Chris had many enjoyments in life which included bowling, woodworking, gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, collecting cars and coins and most of all spending time spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his two daughters, Nydeen Koob of Jeffers and Wandalee Einertson and her husband, Gary, of Westbrook; six grandchildren, Kelli Koob and special friend, Rick Stenstrom, Erik Koob, Lori Nelson and her husband, Devin, Angie Hemmingsen and her husband, Jerry, Tiffanie Ewy and her husband, Lonnie, and Lindsay Einertson and her special friend, Andy Sabin; seven great*-grandchildren, Cody and Carli Nelson, Hailey, Makayla and Ella Ewy, and Nora and Hadlee Hemmingsen; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Verona; son-in-law, David Koob; three brothers, John, Louis and Albert Herbst; and three sisters, Anne Davenport, Freda Farrell and Margaret Michael.
