Beverly M. Rasmussen, 79, Green Bay, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in Madison. She was born on July 29, 1933 in Antigo to the late Melvin and Irma (Zechel) Follstad. Beverly married Paul Rasmussen on February 27, 1954 at Congregational Church in Elcho. Her Masonic life began when she married Paul, who was then a Mason. He preceded her in death in 2001. They as well as other Rasmussen family members owned and operated Rasmussen Cottages for 86 years. Masonic affiliations include, Past Worthy High Priestess, Nazarene White Shrine #8; member of Martha Washington Chpt. 124, Order of Eastern Star; President, Past President and Chairman of Green Bay Women's Shrine Auxiliary; Advisory Board Member, Women's General Auxiliary for Shriners Hospital in Minneapolis; Past President, Commandery Auxiliary for Knights Templar; member of Social Order of the Beauceant; Charter member of Daughters of the Nile; Green Bay Bethel #32 Guardian and Grand Guardian for the State of Wisconsin, International Order of Job's Daughters (IOJD), and Chairman for extensive Masonic dinners/banquets since 1958. Surviving are her six children, Joel (Natalie) of Summit Lake, David (Aleta) of Leland, Illinois, Sue Ann of Madison, Jon (Dawn) , Kennett Square, Pennsylvania , Peter (Jennie) Minneapolis, Minnesota and Robert (Jane) of Wausau; 10 grandchildren, Sara, Kendall, Khristen, Jennifer, Lauren, Kayla, Andrea, Amanda, Hannah, Ryan; nine great-grandchildren, Gage, Nathaniel, Audrey, Adam, Isaac, Aricin , Bailey, Ella and Alyvia; three brothers, Jacque Follstad, Robert Follstad and Gary (Susan) Follstad. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Janet and two grandchildren, Alex Robert and Sydney Claire Rasmussen. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Masonic Center, 525 N. Taylor Street, Green Bay, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, October 27 at the Masonic Center from 9:00 am until the service at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Summit Lake Cemetery in Summit Lake at 4:30 pm on Saturday.
