Nancy Christine Cleveland

Nancy Cleveland, 72, of Thor, IA passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge. Nancy was born in Fort Dodge on March 3, 1940 to Jim and Bertha Chada. She attended school and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1958. She married Mark Cleveland on January 17, 1959. She was a member of the Webster County Pork Producers and helped with Badger Fest for many years. She worked for Becker Florist and the Eagle Grove Greenhouse for many years. She loved spending time with her family. She was an avid gardener and loved cooking and always enjoyed helping with the Norwegian Supper in Badger. Nancy is survived by her husband Mark; children Jeff Cleveland of Whitefish, MT and Tim (Val) Cleveland of Bradgate, IA; grandchildren Jennifer Cleveland, Kate Cleveland, Jordan Cleveland, Kaylee Nelson and Brooke Nelson; great-grandchildren Alexiss, Emma and Riley and her sister Barthene (Doug) Gorden of Banks, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Bertha Chada and her sister Judy Cleveland. Memorials may be left to the family for their further discretion.
