Annette Wright

Annette Eugenia Wright was born on June 15, 1937, in Lakeside Township, Cottonwood County, Minnesota to the late LeRoy Wade Gove and Caroline (Jensen) Gove. She was baptized in March 1951 at the Methodist Church in Windom. Annette was united in marriage to Jack Sawyer in Miami. This marriage was later dissolved. In 1981 she was united in marriage to James Wright in Miami, Florida. This marriage ended with James' death. Annette received her education in the Windom Public Schools; graduating in the Class of 1955. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Miami, Florida to live with her sister and brother-in-law to babysit for her niece and attend the Charron Williams Commercial College. After accepting a job with Eastern Airlines, she was transferred to New York City where she lived for several years. After being transferred back to Miami, she retired from Eastern Airlines and accepted a job as database manager for an auto dealership. In 1991, she moved with her husband Jim, to the mountains of Georgia. In 1997, after Jim's death, she moved to Northern Virginia. In 2005 she moved back to Windom where she was able to truly retire. She is survived by two siblings, Joyce Gove Langley and her husband, Russ, of Miami, Florida; Rod Gove and his wife, Donna, of Plymouth; nieces and nephews, Nancy Langley Edwards and her husband, Tim, of Springfield, Virginia; Wade Langley of Windom; Rhonda Gove Anderson, her husband Jeff and daughters Jenna and Lindsey, of Richardson, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
