n the New Hope United Methodist Church. She belonged to the UMW and contributed where ever she could. Mary loved to travel and to see family. She was always ready to go when Thelma called; whether it was to go across town or across the country. Mary could do anything and was very determined if she needed something done. Billie had to take her chainsaw and ladder away when she wouldn't stop trimming trees or climbing to put plastic on the windows of her home. Preceding Mary in death were her husband, William Jennings Hunt; parents, William and Julia; and her siblings: Harlan McCoy, Veda Davis, Faye Fisher, Luella Dahleen, Lindsey McCoy, Franklin McCoy; and two infant brothers. She is survived by her children: Theodore (Darlene) Hunt of Jefferson City, MO, Thelma (Bill) Roberts of Bettendorf, IA, and Billie (Sheryl) Hunt of Knoxville; along with 5 grandchildren: Elizabeth, John, Jayme, Kenny, and Brenda; 9 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; brother, Billie McCoy of Gig Harbor, WA; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
