Clarence Burdell Hildebrand

Clarence B. Hildebrand, 93, of Woolstock, died Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Mike Kroona and Rev. Tony Ede officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Clarence Burdell Hildebrand, son of Norbert John and Frieda Christina (Schrage) Hildebrand, was born October 18, 1919, on a farm near Powersville, IA. He was educated in Greene, Iowa Schools, and graduated from Charles City High School. In 1940, he married Lucille Reynolds in Charles City. The couple resided in the Charles City area until they moved to Woolstock in 1945. Clarence was a life long grain and livestock farmer. Lucille passed away in 1998. He married Lucille Wilkins in 2000 in New Hampton. Lucille Wilkins died in 2012. Clarence lived on his farm southeast of Woolstock until he moved to Southfield in 2012. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, a Master Pork Producer and served on the Woolstock Telephone and Cass Electric Board.
