, Bob, Jean and Richard. After 36 years of marriage, Gertrude passed away. John later married Ruth Wickman to whom he was married for 33 years before she passed away in 2010. John loved traveling throughout Europe, the United States and Canada, but was always happy to return to his home in Green Bay and his cottage in Fish Creek, WI. He will be remembered for his dedication to family, community and profession. He is survived by his children, Bob (Bonnie), Green Bay, Jean Bahnsen (friend, Joe Bundrick), Wayne, PA, Richard (Jennie) Hamel, MN, Michael (Terry) Wickman, Green Bay, and Tom (Patricia) Wickman, Greenfield, WI; grandchildren, Mary (Mark) Thomas, Janet (Sam) Cohen, Chrissey (Jarad) Baker, Katie (Tom) Nickerson, Peter and Linna Goelz, Marguerite and Daniel Wickman, Christopher, Laurie and Lisa Wickman; five great-grandchildren, Alex, Anna, Sarah, Abigail and Isaac; and a nephew, David (Margie) Luebkeman. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gertrude, his wife, Ruth, sisters, Norma and Ruth and an infant daughter, Janet. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 9, from 4 to 7 pm at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue. A private memorial service will be held Thursday, January 10, at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Julie Wrubbel-Lange officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
