Dee Michael Rowe

Dee Michael Rowe, 55, of Mt. Sterling, IL and formerly of Nauvoo died at 2:15 pm on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. He was born on January 21, 1957 in Keokuk, IA, a son to Jay Curtis & Ethyl Maxine Jobe Rowe. Dee proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. His hobbies included golfing and fishing and he loved listening to rock music. Dee is survived by one sister: Roni McNatte and her husband Raymond of Chatham, IL; one niece: Rachel McNatte and her partner Davia of San Diego, CA; two aunts: Barb Cunningham and Kathryn Jobe both of Macomb, IL; and two uncles: Jim Jobe of Ft. Madison, IA and John Jobe of Seattle, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents, two aunts and one uncle. A celebration of his life will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Centers located at 917 Blondeau St. in Keokuk with Pastor Julie Azbell officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton, IL with full military honors. Memorials may be made to donor's choice. [more]
