Judy Jean Hawkins

Judy Jean Hawkins, age 61 of Monroe, died Monday, February 4, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Memorial services will be held on Friday February 8, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe. Burial will follow at Silent City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com. The daughter of Earl E. "Sam" and LaBertha (DeLeeuw) Thomasson, Judy was born on September 10, 1951 near Runnells, Iowa. She graduated from Monroe High School. On June 25, 1971, she was united in marriage to Jack Hawkins. Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Jack; a daughter, Cindy Hawkins and her fiancé Brandon Schneider of Knoxville.
