Helen P. Tufts Gillis, age 88 of Lynchburg, Ohio passed away February 9, 2013 at Heartland of HIllsboro. She was born May 2, 1924 in Waynesville, Ohio the daughter of Clarence and Achsa King. She is preceded in death by her parents; her Husband, James Gillis, Daughter, Ronnee M. Shields, Brothers, Sister. Helen is survived by her Daughter - Sharon (Wayne) Gilbert; Son - Wilbur "Bud" (Estele) Tufts Jr.; Step-Son - Mike Gillis; Sister - Vivian (Everett) Accord; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by numerous family and friends. Funeral service will be Friday, February 15, 2013 at 11:00 am at Anderson Funeral Homes (1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio). Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday evening at Anderson Funeral Homes. Entombment with take place in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
