Nathan Mart

Nathan Daniel Mart, the son of Dennis and Connie (Umscheid) Mart, was born September 26, 1979 in Estherville, Iowa, He was a graduate of Terril (Lakeland) High School and Iowa Central Community College. On June 8, 2002, Nathan was united in marriage to Lisa Manley at First Congregational Church in Spencer, Iowa. The couple made their home in Graettinger before moving to an acreage west of Graettinger this summer. Nate was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Nate enjoyed riding his motorcycle and snowmobile. He was an avid outdoors-man, and he loved to spend time camping, hunting and playing sports. One of Nate's favorite past-times was gathering with his friends at the snowmobile shop where he served as President of the Snowmobile Club. More than anything, Nate loved to be surrounded by his family: Lisa, Jenna, Brooke and his best friend, Shane. On Friday, October 29, 2010, Nate passed away at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
