Mary Hollingsworth

Mary Cecelia Hollingsworth passed away August 22, 2011 at the age of 93 at Covenant Hospital in Waterloo, IA. Mary was born May 22, 1918 in Ottumwa, IA, the first child of John and Catherine Phillips. She graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1936. She married Chester Hollingsworth in October of 1948 in Ottumwa, IA. She is survived by her children: Mike (Sharon) Hollingsworth of Emmetsburg, IA, Paul Hollingsworth of Bath, ME, Denise (Mike) Dunlay of Waterloo, IA; Stepson, Dennis (Rita) Hollingsworth of Waukegan, IL; brother, Robert (Lorene) Phillips of Los Banos, CA; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester in 1975; and her brothers: Patrick, Raymond and Paul "Bud" Phillips. [more]
