s Glick. She supported him during his time in the Army Air Force in World War II; during that time their oldest daughter Sandra was born. After the war Lew ran Highland Furniture. Helen and Lew were founding members of El Caballero Country Club. Their son, Philip, was born 10 years after his sister. Helen was always a social soul; she was president of the ladies auxiliary at El Caballero and wrote the social news column for their newsletter for many years. She was involved with many charities and was awarded the prestigious Golda Award from the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. She was a life-long Dodger fan. In addition to her husband and daughter, she is preceded in death by her brother Art and her sister Fern. She is survived by her son Philip (Drucy Borowitz), three grandchildren Lisa (Bradley) Harris, Zoey (Matthew Swerdlin) Glick and Zack Glick and three great-grandchildren Devin Maldonado and Sam and Ruby Harris. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles.
