and had been president of the Andrew Coop. Allen liked to travel, listen to country music, go horseback riding, and play cards, particularly euchre and bridge. He loved spending time with this family especially around a bonfire, and was known as a very mechanical man who could fix anything. Those left to honor Allen's memory include his wife, Marianne Hoerschelman of Maquoketa, IA; children, Gary (Darlene) Hoerschelman of Andrew, IA, Lori (Brad) Edaburn of Marion, IA, Lisa Dursky of Andrew, IA, and Jan (Adam) Pyatt of Mount Vernon, IA; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; a brother, Eldon (Elaine) Hoerschelman of Bellevue, IA; and a sister, Gloria (Terry) Petesch of Bellevue, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother Charles. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, an Allen R. Hoerschelman memorial fund has been established.
