When my grandmother died in March of 2014, the staff at Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg were the only people who could have helped us at that confusing and dark time. We waited less than 45 minutes for them to arrive at the nursing home, and we knew that any questions that we had would be answered and any requests that we had would be fulfilled. Although arrangements had been made prior to my grandmother's death, there were still many decisions that had yet to be made, and the wonderful people at Powell's were nothing but patient, caring and understanding. The services provided were of the highest quality, and the professionalism of the staff was stunning. When you enter the doors of the Williamsburg location, you can be certain that you will be treated with respect and will be cared for. Thank you Kim, Kenton, and Sam for making such a drear time so much easier to bear.

When my grandmother died, the staff at Powell Funeral Home was outstanding help and comfort. Extremely professional and well-known in the community. When we walked through the doors, we felt like we were at home, and knew that we would be cared for and respected to say the least. Thank you, Kim, Sam, Charlie, and the whole staff at Powell Funeral Home.

Charlie, showed up in the middle of the night soon after my mom passed away and set all of us at ease from that moment on. He handled questions and plan changes with grace and kindness. So glad my parents chose Yoder-Powell for their funeral plans!
