Adding Subscriber to Aftercare Series

Many of the Campaigns within the Growth Engine use an email series to continue outreach after their contact information is provided. Along with Campaigns, we use email series to subscribe family members in aftercare and grief outreach. Your staff doesn’t need to craft the email or remember to send the emails on the appropriate days. The Growth Engine will automatically send the emails out on the right day based on the obituary information. Below are two different ways to add subscribers to the Aftercare Series.

1. Start by logging in to Growth Engine.

2. Enter your username and password.

3. Click on Cases on the top menu.

4. If a case hasn’t been created, create one by Clicking Add Case. Otherwise, If a case already exists, click on View/Edit under Actions.

5. Click on the Subscribers option on the obituary and fill out the information and the appropriate Aftercare series.

6. Click on Add Subscriber once done. If the service date is not updated on the obituary, our system will send out the first email one week after the subscriber had been subscribed.

 

The second option on how to add Subscribers to an Email Series:

1. Click on Content on the top menu.

2. Search for the Aftercare Series under Category and click on the desired series.

3. Click on Add Subscriber.

4. Double check the correct Email Series is listed.  Enter the subscriber’s email, First and Last Name.  Select the +Assign button to find the corresponding case.

5. Click Save after assigning the corresponding case. If the service date is not updated on the obituary, our system will send out the first email one week after the subscriber had been subscribed.
